Friday 13th!!! Spooky huh? Well, not actually. In some cultures it’s Tuesday the 13th, in others the number 17th signals “La disgrazia!” and the day that superstitious people fear the most. Here we are all rooting for science and there’s another week, and another Zcash Z3 development update.

Outreach

Status: resumed :white_check_mark:

We started pinging exchanges to get some metrics that will help us create a realistic workload test for Zallet.

Zebra

The ZF engineering team has published a new update which is far more exhaustive than what we usually cover here. Huge shoutout to Alfredo who is working a lot improving our integration testing. This work is essential to guarantee a high level of certainty of the state of our tooling so that when the time comes, we are sure that we are ready to “press F for respect” and say goodbye to our dear Zcashd.

Zaino (ZingoLabs)

  • Status: next release 0.2.0

Project Board

The moment you say the word release, things happen. Although it’s better now than later. Zingoistas are working long hours to improve sync times and iron out other issues on this upcoming release. If you already checked out RC4, please stay tuned for the next RC coming soon.

Zallet full node wallet

  • Status: working towards alpha.4
