Executive Summary

Work centered on three areas: zcashd deprecation, Zaino development, and ecosystem DevRel.Deprecation efforts focused on community outreach — usage surveys, weekly forum updates, and hosting collaboration calls — alongside early work on Zaino’s LWD parity and lightclient protocol fixes. On the development side, key contributions included fixing a GetBlockRange bug, supporting the Zebra 4.3.0 upgrade, and improving the integration test suite. DevRel was high-volume: 15+ PR reviews across Zaino, zingolib, lightwalletd, and ZIPs; two LCWG meetings; Arborist Call participation; and regular syncs with RedDev, Zingo Labs, ZCG, and ZODL. DevSummit and Hackathon logistics were also handled.

    • Sent outreach with survey to know Zcashd wallet usage metrics (expecting results)
    • Maintained a Master contact list and shared it with main Zcash Orgs (ZF, ZODL, Shielded Labs)
    • Did the last mile of the Zcashd 6.12.0 outreach initiated by SL and ZODL.
