Organizing ZconV takes a village and we owe the success of the event to all of you. Truly.
Let us know what you thought about ZconV by completing this short, anonymous feedback form. We keep hearing that Zcons get better and better every year and that is in large part to your feedback. Do us all a favor and let us know what you think.
I am so grateful for my fellow organizers who have put in countless hours and brainpower (working tirelessly since last October) to make this happen: Deidra, decentralistdan, Elise, and Alex you are truly a dream team! My favorite professor in grad school always said “plan like hell, then go with the flow” and that we did.
Additionally, the entire Zcash Foundation team stepped up and was instrumental in moderating each session so your questions reached speakers- they all deserve a round of applause.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of our speakers who took time out of their busy lives to share their expertise and inspire us all. We asked a lot of them and they came through in spades!
Huge shoutout to Ryan Taylor (creator of AV Club that is currently sponsored by the Zcash Foundation) who not only did A/V testings with 40 speakers with me the weeks prior to ZconV and was our main livestreaming wizard for most of the conference, but he also organized widely successful meet-up/watch parties in Berlin (shoutout to Least Authority for hosting), created a community clip contest (that raised over 250 ZEC- you still have the weekend to submit), and empowered the rest of the AV Club to experiment.
AV Club members around the globe were vital in making ZconV more accessible by translating to different languages, livestreaming to Discord and Twitter, and creating the clip contest for us all to share. I want to specifically thank Vito, Robmarn, squirrel, John Bruhling, Roosevelt, decentralistdan, zerodartz, iogy, Aura, and harian kripto. ZF has supported the AV Club since Jan 2023 and we couldn’t be more proud of them maturing into the Zero-Knowledge Audiovisual Club (formerly named ZF AV Club). Join them on the Global Discord: https://discord.gg/zcash!
Were you also in awe of the ZconV animations? All the credit goes to Eli James Co. Check out his website to see how everything he touches becomes infinitely better: elijames.co
Steve Thomas is the master behind all of the graphics. See his full portfolio on his website.
Many thanks to ZecHub for making Zcon swag accessible on their store (please note, ZF does not earn any profit for the sales, we just want to get Zcash merch in the hands of more folks).
Last but certainly not least, thank you to the community for providing us with the resources to convene the community at ZconV and throughout the year.
All sessions are on the Zcash Foundation YouTube channel ZconV playlist with resource links and snazzy chapter bookmarks. Watch them, share them, like them!
Thank you all for helping us realize ZconV’s theme, Zcash Unified!
