ZecLearn.com

:loudspeaker: Hello Zcash Community,

We are excited to announce that ZecLearn - com will be going live in approximately 20 days!
It’s a pleasure to share this project with all of you.

:magnifying_glass_tilted_left: So, What Is ZecLearn?

ZecLearn is an interactive education and task-based platform designed for newcomers to the Zcash ecosystem as well as users who want to deepen their knowledge of ZEC.

On the platform, each user will:

  • Complete educational videos and articles covering the fundamentals of Zcash,
  • Receive a $5 worth of ZEC reward after completing the course and submitting their shielded address from the Zashi wallet.

Users will create an account to log in, and IP checks will be implemented to prevent multiple-account abuse.

Additionally, users who complete the course will be asked to upload a screenshot/photo of their Zashi wallet.
We are currently evaluating different options to ensure the highest level of security.

:globe_showing_europe_africa: Language Support & Content

The platform will initially launch with Turkish language support.
Later on, languages such as English, Spanish, and Portuguese will be added.

Our team in Turkey will prepare the Turkish educational materials, and afterward, we will collaborate with other community members to translate and publish the content in additional languages.

:bullseye: Our Mission

The mission of ZecLearn is to:

  • Grow the Zcash community,
  • Make the ecosystem easier to understand,
  • Create a sustainable learn-and-earn model that encourages users to learn while earning rewards.

We aim to deliver an educational, fun, and rewarding experience for both newcomers and existing community members.

Awesome, can’t wait to actually learn form there, but might I ask, what makes it different from Zechub?

First of all, I would like to clearly state that ZecHub is an extremely valuable and well-respected resource within the Zcash ecosystem.
Thanks to its long-standing, high-quality content, technical documentation, and strong community contributions, ZecHub has become a very solid knowledge base for anyone who wants to learn and deeply understand Zcash. Its contribution to where the ecosystem stands today is truly significant.

On the ZecLearn side, we are focusing on a different need.
Our goal is to create simple, accessible educational materials in local languages, helping people who are new to Zcash enter the ecosystem more comfortably. This is especially important for users who do not have a technical background or who are less comfortable with English. Turkish content is one of the clearest examples of this gap.

On ZecLearn, users will complete an educational flow and then participate in a quiz.
If they are successful, they will receive small ZEC rewards directly to their Zashi wallets. One of the core ideas behind this approach is simple: if you have funds somewhere, you are naturally motivated to learn how to use them.

Of course, this will not be a “visit the site and get free ZEC” type of system.
Receiving rewards will require completing a full educational series and demonstrating real understanding.

More details will be shared soon.

Something along the lines of 85 million people speak Turkish.

How many colleges, universities, and paid learning centers are in Turkey?

Have you decided if your going to build a free video delivery model or a paid service?

How large is the volume of remittance from euros to lira?

Hello, yes, there are approximately 90 million Turkish-speaking people.

In Turkey, there are a total of 208 universities. Some of these are state universities, while others are foundation (private) universities.

We will proceed with a free distribution model. The process is moving somewhat slowly because we are trying to accomplish many things simultaneously. Free educational video series will be prepared and integrated into the website.

In addition, we are currently in discussions to publish the ZecLearn mobile application on the Google Play Store and the App Store.

Although there is no fully official source, it is stated that bank transfers amounting to approximately 1 billion USD took place in 2024.
