As we get closer to make ZSA a reality, do we have teams or developers that are building applications for that category? If we let’s say build something like Maker to mint Stablecoins on Zcash, who is going to do that?

applications like these won’t get build in a matter of weeks, so if we see ZSA on Zcash in the next 12 months, it would take another 6-12 months if not more to build something like that.
why don’t we start to build or at least talk about this now?

It’s not really realistic to create a Zcash native stablecoin. We should focus on bridging DAI to Zcash in my opinion.

interesting, would love to explore and hear some ideas on what is possible with ZSA.
I also agree with the above. If possible, I think focusing more resources on adding Dai, but also USDC and USDT as ZSAs should be a priority. Imo adding shielded stablecoins with optional disclosure would be a significant use case for Zcash that would likely be utilised by many. Getting Circle and Tether onboard might help speed up the process…
this is great idea because if we’re putting so much focus on ZSA to drive adoption, then its best to be framing up what to build way in advance.

i don’t see Circle and Tether joining this. in case a gov is asking them to freeze funds, how would they do that if they don’t even know who is holding them?
