It’s possible the person who posted that posted a link to an actual virus rather than the actual Awesome Miner software. Hence Shawn closed the thread and removed the link.
Exactly, that user posted a link with hacked software, it lit up Virus Total like a Christmas tree. If you have a clean version of it feel free to post a link.
