Skip to 15:25 where Zooko says:

Bitcoin is completely insecure and dangerous to use for actual consumer payments

He is right. That is why shielded transactions must become mandatory for Zcash at some point. His above quote also applies to Zcash T transactions because they are the same as Bitcoin. We need security and privacy for all!

One only needs to put Zcash in Bitcoins shoes and ask if Zooko would have still said that. Perhaps though I doubt it because it would be false.
