The open mint is closed but if you DM me your wallet address, I’ll send you a Cypherpunk from my collection.

I’m happy to do the same.

Is there a tip sheet for sending CZ nft from metamask? I searched token and found ā€˜zero’ and added 0 for decimals. I can swap but not send.

Metamask recommends using their mobile app for transferring NFTs:

I’m curious, why were there so many NFTs available after the first round?

I think someone mentioned around 3500? I thought each person got 4 the first time based on how many people registered their address. So does that mean a lot of people registered and then didn’t mint? I’m surprised

Yes, precisely. We saw ~45% participation from white list enjoyooors.

Keep an eye on this whale, if they do what they did in the first mint their total bag could expand to 200 total CypherPunk NFTs after this second round.

Hopefully they didn’t use automation and don’t have a big bag of eth for minting. Otherwise 200 would be the least of our worries. The ones sold for 0.01 eth make me worry a little, but it could also be event organizers buying a big bag just to resell them at break even prices and giving people a second chance to get NFTs

What is the valuation of Cypherpunk zero? We are a loyal fan of Zero. We can maintain the price together.

Currently, I feel like anything below 0.4 eth is under fair value for the zero character trait. Over time, 2 eth is achievable. But it’s still just free market, so it’s up to the seller to ultimately decide. I’m happy to scoop them up cheap

is it not possible to trade NFT for another NFT ? Exchanging between holders?

I’d be down for that, but it’s generally not safe as there are a lot of scammers. Unless you develop a trusted reputation, I would only trade if you send your NFT first. But this is because I can get people to back up my credibility in another crypto group I’m part of and I can also share screenshots of previous transactions. The person with a lower reputation generally sends first. Alternatively people use a trusted middleman like one of the mods.

Some fun facts about the open mint:

  1. Looks like the first mint of the open mint period happened in this transaction at block height 14980037, mined at 8:58:36 AM PDT, so pretty close (within 90 seconds) of the announced start of 9am.

  2. The first NFT minted in the open mint was #3923 and the last was #7614. So 3692 NFTs were minted in the open mint period. Hypothetically, if everyone minted the full 16 NFT allotment, that would equate to around 230 minters.

  3. Since the open mint ran until #7614 instead of stopping at #7600, the Cypherpunk Reserve is 14 NFTs short of the planned allotment of 2400 NFTs.

Corrections welcome.
