🦸‍♀️ Cypherpunk Zero NFT Megathread

yes, to the moon

I took the coefficients from gem.xyz, so if it says 111 NFTs have a trait, I used 0.1110, because the percentage gem.xyz lists along the number is higher than 1.11% (in my example), since they have less than 10k NFTs listed.

I thought this way would be the most accurate.

Unfortunately hand calculating and sorting all 10,000 NFTs would take forever, and for some reason 2 traits are missing from the official NFT Rarity Matrix as @spectre pointed out.

So we could maybe use an API to pull the data from opensea or gem.xyz? I’m not familiar with this, but would be willing to fund the effort for someone that knows how to.

Ideally though, ECC could update the official rarity matrix to include the 2 missing traits?

Which traits are missing from the rarity matrix?

@spectre had said there are two missing, but I just checked and it seems like 3.

Bonus, Sidekick, and Spirit.

Thanks for the help!

Good catch! Just updated the rarity matrix. Let me know if you need anything else.

It seems to me that there is a data setup error

Sorry about that! The rarity matrix should be working again

Let me know if you spot any issues.

Working well  :+1:

Have one of you spreadsheet experts got time to pull in the updated rarity matrix and create an updated power rank of the collection?

I am interested to see how big of an impact those 3 additional trait distributions will have on ranking.

Update as PDF attached.

Can someone do some cross checks when they get a chance? Either there is still a bug in the calcs or gem.xyz has a different calculation method/weighting regarding rarity. In any case, the ranking is significantly different.

I can also upload the Excel later.

I haven’t posted this project on Twitter for two days, and the trading volume of CZNFT has fallen. I hope all users can make promotions.

Everyone should promote our CZNFT.

I’ve manually checked a couple NFTs and your list seems right, while gem.xyz definitely seems off, although it seems more accurate than other rarity list websites.

I’m not sure why they are all so off though… it should be relatively straightforward!

Thanks for making the list.

There is quite the conundrum now though, as gem.xyz rankings have definitely influenced price, yet it is not accurate, and people probably won’t see the true rarity ranking (thanks for making it!)

For example, gem.xyz lists #16 as rarity #1, yet as shown in your list, it is actually rarity #83.

You show NFT #7976 as rarity #1, yet gem.xyz shows it as rarity #471

I’m confused how gem.xyz could mess up this much, and I’m also curious if they have messed up for other bigger name NFT projects as well!

I’d imagine they are weighting certain attributes as being more important than others.

Maybe if some traits are sold more often, they are considered more valuable.

My guess about Gem is that they’ve got a proprietary trait distribution weighting feature.

An NFT with all of its traits at say 20% rarity could have a much different weighted rank than an NFT with 5 traits at 1% and all others at greater % to avg out its total power rank to = the uniform 20% NFT

Looking for some liquidity, willing to part with some of my more rare Cypherpunks like #472. Take a look at my other Cypherpunks and make a good offer👀

Let’s publicize the value of CZNFT.
