Developing a modern, modular B2B cross-border payment infrastructure & supply-chain management platform

The biggest technical risks we have identified are the scalability, Interoperability and security of the underlying smart contracts. Security risks like smart contract vulnerabilities, code exploits and attacks can happen given that we will be processing a large amount of transfer. Also, developing a large payment platform often involves interacting with multiple networks or legacy financial systems. Ensuring seamless interoperability between different systems can be technically complex and risky.

Thanks, that makes sense, and I appreciate your diligence.

Where will your smart contracts be running?

Zcash doesn’t support smart contracts. ZSAs create shielded assets, but they aren’t programmable.

The estimated transactions will be between 4000 - 5000 per day and will increase by 20% - 30% every quarter (These transactions will be mixed of small, medium & large amounts). We are building a complete ecosystem and a native/default stable currency will play a huge role to achieve mass adoption.

Ok, that seems reasonable, it’s about 4 extra transactions per block.

We are very much aware that ZSAs create shielded assets and it’s not programmable.
The implementation of smart contracts will come into effect when we integrate/partner with other payment methods, wallets, dApps and DeFi platforms across different blockchain networks in the second phase of our development.

While our transaction count may be less, the value of the fund transfers will be substantial. Once our payment platform and stablecoin are fully developed and integrated with our other products, we anticipate a significant increase in transaction volume.

Additionally, we have recently initiated partnerships with Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands/startups. These brands operate both offline and online, presenting a valuable opportunity for us to gain wider adoption.

@Nabarun, thank you for your grant submission, the @ZcashGrants Committee views this proposal as out of scope for funding at the moment and has voted to reject this proposal.
