IMO, when a user comes in the first thing they see is the new animation, and that can distract them, bewilder them or just drive them away.

Hey everybody! We’re still chugging along. We haven’t even started yet 
Keep in mind that Zcash was all but unusable for the entire life of Free2Z until the last few months! But, we’re more optimistic than ever now that wallets are starting to hum again. We finally found a real frontend guy (@1337bytes 
) who is excited to make everything look fabulous in exchange for ZEC (we don’t sell ZEC to pay people fiat except as a last resort!). So, all of my rock-solid backend work won’t go to waste and all the criticisms like “it’s awesome but it looks like a forum from the 1870s” will soon fade into the past.
We’ve done 320-some-odd releases to production in the last year or so:
We added OTP MFA in just the past few days:
We put some new shine on the login modal that just went out today.
We’re ready to declare milestone 3!
With these funds, we will be able to pursue our goal to send $1,000,000 worth of shielded ZEC to talented and honest people around the world in a legal and compliant way.

Hey Jack! We’ll compile a full list of videos. We have many videos on a lot of topics. There are a couple of new ones still in the pipeline. Now that you mention it, I think we still need a couple for complete beginners - What is Zcash? Why Zcash? Getting started with {Ywallet/Zingo/…}.
I think we still don’t have the perfect very short “this is why Zcash is so much better than bitcoin” video showing how shielded transactions are so awesome. We’ll activate the community and get some new ones and find the best ones that are already out there.
Some good news is that we have recently collected some tax forms and screened a few people so The Company can pay people now! I know everyone has mixed feeling about tax forms to say the least (myself included); but, I’m excited to be able to really build the team in a legal and compliant way.

For Oauth, we will definitely add more. I think the priorities would be: Github, Discord, Google… Microsoft, Facebook … (thoughts?) Something of a prerequisite would be to make a final final decision on .com versus .cash. Not every provider is as flexible as Twitter and the multiple domains ultimately brings too much friction.
I think GitHub and Discord pretty much cover any potential users from the Zcash side. Facebook and TikTok are the two most popular platform globally (top 2 in LatAm).

I still really want to see extremely short videos explaining the core problem that Zcash solves. I still don’t think we have this. Here’s one of my script ideas:
Alice: Bitcoin is stupid.
Bob: What do you mean?
Alice: If you post an address, everyone in the entire world can see the balance and everything that is coming and going!
Bob: No way. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency. Aren’t they private and anonymous?
Alice: No, seriously. When someone has your address, they can see the entire history of what has come and gone from it!
Bob: Wow. That’s crazy. Why would people use that? It doesn’t even make any sense!
Alice: I know, cryptocurrencies really are a scam.
Charlie: Hey, most cryptocurrencies are pretty ridiculous. But, have you ever heard of Zcash? It uses advanced cryptography so that, when you post an address, you can receive and send funds and no one in the world can see your balance or what is coming and going without your consent?
Bob: Ahhhh
Alice: Wow, why haven’t I ever heard of this?
Charlie: I know, right? I guess it’s a crowded, crazy market with all sort of Dog Coins and toys and scams. But, Zcash is pretty cool. It’s almost like physical cash but can be sent over the internet.
Bob: Man, that’s awesome! That sounds like something the world needs.
Alice: For real! Something in “crypto” that could actually be useful. Thanks for letting us know!
I created a new experiment to see what we could get with what I still consider a pretty large bounty:

Okay, what else do we have in terms of Zcash education? We have about 10,000 uploads of all kinds. How many videos? 575.
Here are a few of the recent ones:
We have a lot of video talent in the community that can be developed further; and, we’re just getting started. I’m looking forward to seeing people execute on my script above and variants of that theme. We should be putting short videos in front of people every day and every week explaining the core proposition of Zcash. I think only a few thousand people in the entire world know what the problem statement and opportunity is.
Here’s another one we can take partial credit for from @Tecnopapapi
I love content like this. We should pay creators to make more similar content and put it on YouTube and Tiktok every week so that we can dominate the term zcash on those platforms. This particular one is more for people who already have Zcash. I think the biggest need is extremely short videos for the 99.999% of people in the world who dont know the first thing about how transparent blockchains work and therefore dont understand the value proposition of Zcash.
