I see your point, but I have a slightly different perspective.
Before people can use Zcash because they need it, they first need to understand what it is and why financial privacy matters. You can’t expect someone to use a tool they don’t understand.
My goal isn’t to convince people to use Zcash. It’s to educate them. Once people understand the value of financial privacy and what Zcash offers, they can make their own informed decision about whether and when to use it.
That’s exactly the idea behind the proposal I recently shared with the community:
I believe education is the first step toward long-term adoption.
