Actually this ZEC miner is a version of a dual miner I was working on. If you have the ETH kernel (which isn’t part of this release) you could dual mine with -k zec eth. The ETH part isn’t fully finished yet, but I could check performance for you. If it is good, I might release it. But I don’t think so, as both are memory hard. ZEC + SIA maybe an option, that’s on there partially as well.
After losing connection and reconnecting it stops mining, 0 solsec.
Genoil, if i run 1 card I can get dual miner using zec zec right?
How can I get that for 4 cards (8 miners)?
How to set up for 380 and 370??
Thank you
Hi speed for 280x

@Genoil are there any log files created by Genoil or SilentArmy that I can use to troubleshoot why the miner reports 0S/s and then eventually gives up mining?
@Genoil Hello, what about 0/0 sol/s issue. Do you have any solutions. Thanks.
Guys just run an autorunner script every 5 or 10 minutes. Hashrate stabilises and you wont need to baby sit your rigs. Make it a .bat file in the same directory as Genoil and just run it.
@echo off
echo:
set executable=genoil.exe
set commandline= -c eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3333 -u taddress.worker -p x
set runforseconds=1800
set restartinseconds=5
set /a counter=0
timeout 3
:start
start “genoil” %executable% %commandline%
echo:
echo The software will run for %runforseconds% seconds
timeout %runforseconds%
taskkill /f /im %executable%
echo:
echo Restarting the software in %restartinseconds% seconds (%counter%)
timeout %restartinseconds%
set /a counter+=1
echo:
echo:
goto start
Meh, let’s simplify:
:loop
start /min "Genoil ZEC Miner" "genoil.exe" -c zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -u dop54htt.vc1l -p p
timeout /t 600 >nul
taskkill /f /im "genoil.exe" >nul
timeout /t 2 >nul
goto loop
typo in there null not nul
i use gigabyte 7970 and som ASUS 380 but Asus 380 not work!
Lol, hadn’t notice. Looks like those two doesn’t matter as I’ve run this around a day now without any problem.
For Windows Batch NUL is fine
troll, I think I found the issue and its sorted…No more restarting of PC BUT I keep getting 1 card that blacks out my screen for 1 second and says display driver failed or something like that…Anyways I noticed it was the lone rx480 card, the other cards are all 470s, is that the problem? Should I be running the same cards only on each rig?
Thanks
Preferably yes, easier to troubleshoot
Ive fixed everything else…worst case If I do leave it in what am I looking for…
JUST RESTARTED…IM PISSSSEDDDD
Get someone to build the rig for you mate…
Going to set it up on a new mb and cards ive got coming…If I cant get it going ill get someone.
Thanks
