1-Month Update: The Zcash Grassroots and WebZero teams have been hard at work talking to sponsors and collaborators. We are pulling together a 2.5day schedule of events. We are aiming to launch all Luma events on Wednesday May 6th, as we wait for final confirmation of speakers. It is expected we will have 10-15 separate events over the course of the 2-day Spati. The venue has been secured, including DJs, staff and catering. Local tattoo artists have been booked for the parties, to add color and ink to committed party goers. We have ordered swag for the events; zcash branded watches for VIP party attendees, branded LED lights for the space, a yellow zebra-print rug, other giveaways and of course lots of condoms!

June 17 - Opening Rave co-hosted with dappCon
June 18 - Brunch (co-host sponsor identified, not yet confirmed), Zodl workshop, Lunch BBQ and afternoon activity for networking, late night rave with local DJs (paid entry and drinks)
June 19 - Morning co-working space, brunch, ecosystem mixer, BBQ and closing party.
The BBQs and afternoon networking activities are designed to bring crypto-related folks not aware of the project or not particularly privacy minded yet to give them an introduction to zcash. The marketing grassroots teams will be present near the door as they enter to onboard users on Zodl, which unlocks the zcash branded drinks. WebZero is known in the space for hosting amazing events, and we expect a full house most of the weekend.
June 18th’s rave will be hosted by zcash with recognized DJs in Berlin to draw a crowd. The full cost of the event will be offset with ticket sales through Resident Adviser, the known rave listing site similar to Luma or Eventbrite. The goal is to host an amazing party for the Berlin scene, and invite non-crypto, non-privacy minded folks to discover zcash. Our teams will be visible in zcash logos, and close to the door to give each attendee and intro to Zodl. This will be an outreach event, aimed at onboarding everyday folks.
The June 19th ecosystem mixer will invite other privacy projects to give short(!) talks about their projects, inviting privacy-minded folks into the space with zcash giving keynote and closing remarks. We have been collaborating with ZCG on projects to align with, including Nym, Logos, Protocol Labs, DarkFi, Internet Archive.
