Hello Zcash Community,

We have submitted our grant application for a 3-month Russian-language educational initiative focused on Zcash and financial privacy.

About us

Pro Blockchain Media is a crypto-native media company with 10 years of experience covering blockchain, digital assets, and Web3 for Russian-speaking audiences. Over the years, we have built a large and engaged audience across multiple media formats, including Telegram, YouTube, livestreams, and other social channels.

We have worked with many major industry participants, including Binance, Dash, Bybit, and other leading projects. We have also hosted well-known guests and speakers in our long-form content formats, including CZ Binance, Roger Ver, as well as many founders, influencers, and representatives of major blockchain ecosystems.

What we are proposing

We are requesting $9,000 for a 3-month Russian-language educational content initiative dedicated to Zcash and the broader topic of financial privacy.

The goal of this proposal is to create accessible, high-quality educational materials that help Russian-speaking audiences better understand:

  • what Zcash is

  • why financial privacy matters

  • how privacy-preserving digital money fits into the broader crypto ecosystem

  • why privacy should be understood as an important public-interest topic, not only as a technical feature

This initiative is designed as a localized educational effort, not as a promotional campaign. The project will focus on original Russian-language editorial content produced within our media environment and adapted for audiences with different levels of familiarity with privacy-related technologies.

The work may include:

  • explanatory written educational materials

  • contextual commentary on ecosystem developments

  • recurring educational content within our editorial workflow

  • one longer-form educational conversation or interview with a knowledgeable participant from the Zcash ecosystem or broader privacy field

Budget

The total requested budget is $9,000 for 3 months, structured as $3,000 per month.

This proposal is intentionally structured as a cost-covering educational initiative. The requested budget is meant to support research, editorial planning, content production, coordination, publication, and reporting over the project period.

Goal

Our goal is to produce durable Russian-language educational materials that improve understanding of Zcash and the broader importance of financial privacy among Russian-speaking crypto audiences.

We would like to share an intermediate progress report on the first phase of this educational initiative.

As part of this work, our focus remains on creating accessible Russian-language educational materials that help audiences better understand what Zcash is, why financial privacy matters, and how Zcash fits into the broader crypto ecosystem.

At this stage, we have already completed several educational content steps across our media ecosystem.

1. Educational mention during livestream
We included Zcash in our livestream content, using this format to introduce the topic to a broader crypto-native audience in a dynamic and discussion-based way.
