Hi folks! Here’s what I just posted on twitter and bluesky. I hope that Zcash’s 10th anniversary can be an occasion to draw in more and more users, coin-holders, developers, and community members, and give them reason to trust both our technology and our culture.

Zcash enables anyone, anywhere to store value and to transact privately and securely. Zcash is the most important project in the world, because self-sovereign money is a requirement for human rights and for a durable and thriving civilization.
Zcash is a project for the next one hundred years. Zcash is money for an infinite civilization.
Zcash has always been the work of many hands. We’ve welcomed many more people over the years, and especially in the last year. Zcash is also exceptional in that almost all of the original core team are also still working full-time to protect and improve Zcash!
Many of the developers, business and organizational leaders, coin-holders, and community members of today, have been here all along.
This unusual and powerful combination of fresh blood and O.G.'s working together is a testament to the importance of money for an infinite civilization.
It is also a testament to Zcash’s culture of continuous innovation, at both the blockchain layer and at the social layer, and to our culture of treating one another with both candor and respect.
So here’s what you can do to celebrate Zcash’s tenth birthday today: take a minute to send a message of gratitude to a Zcash supporter, developer, or coin-holder, old or new, for their support of money for an infinite civilization.
