I have asked this question a few times and not got a response yet. There is talk of proof of stake. zooko seems to like the idea. So how do I stake from a z address? I mean, there is so much talk it seems im just missing something obvious.
If someone could chuck me a link I would really appreciate it.

Zcash is currently proof of work. Any talk of switching to proof of stake is purely speculative and definitely has not been implemented. So, no you can’t (currently at least) stake Zcash.
I have sent you the technical details of another pure privacy coin where staking is possible on a zerocoin protocol for some months now. This let’s me think, that ones Zcash decides to go POS, it’s something they can deal as well and find an even better solution.
