Its a hard lesson to learn, that not everyone wishes you well but perhaps the opposite

Forum members should strive to be kind, respectful, and interesting. Ideally, your presence in the community should improve the experience for everyone.
Hard questions are fine. Debate is fine. Dissent is fine. In fact, all of those are encouraged!
But you can’t impugn people’s motives without evidence, and accusations of “cheap virtue signalling” come close to that.
