Excited to finally share Gleyo, a ZEC-native quest and community growth platform I’ve been building over the past few months.
Gleyo enables communities to fund a shared wallet with ZEC, create quests, reward contributors directly in shielded ZEC, run a built-in community chat, and measure long-term engagement—all from one platform instead of stitching together multiple tools.
Everything demonstrated runs on Zcash mainnet, with end-to-end ZEC flows.
Since launching today, Gleyo has already onboarded 31 users on mainnet, completing quests, earning shielded ZEC, and providing real feedback that’s helped shape the platform along the way. One thing that surprised me was that none of them watched the demo video first. Instead, they naturally explored the platform, navigated to Account Settings, connected their Telegram accounts, verified their wallets, and completed quests on their own. That felt like a good sign that the platform is intuitive to use.
Beyond that, Gleyo has already seen real on-chain activity. I funded the Gleyo community with $10 worth of ZEC, and users have successfully completed shielded withdrawals. These aren’t simulated flows, it’s actual ZEC moving on mainnet.
Demo walkthrough covers:
- Wallet verification (I used Zodl in the demo because the UX is excellent, but Gleyo works with any wallet capable of sending to a shielded Zcash address.)
- Community funding
- Quest creation
- GitHub task verification
- Quiz & community tasks
- Instant reward crediting
- Built-in community chat
- Retention analytics
- Shielded withdrawals powered by NozyWallet and a self-hosted Zebra node
If you’d like to try it yourself, I’ve also published a couple of short Zcash-themed quiz quests that you can complete to experience the platform and see yourself on the leaderboard.

I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback, questions, or suggestions. Building Gleyo has been an incredible learning experience, and I’m excited to continue improving it with input from the community.
Acknowledgements
This project wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing people and projects in the Zcash ecosystem.
A huge thank you to the NozyWallet project for making wallet integration possible and for the support provided while troubleshooting wallet and Ironwood-related issues during development.
Thanks as well to the Zebra project for its excellent documentation and developer resources, which made getting started with the Zcash stack much easier.
I’m also deeply grateful to @zec_forge, whose members tested Gleyo early, provided real feedback, and encouraged others to participate. That early testing and support genuinely shaped the platform.
I’m also grateful to everyone at ZecHub and the wider Zcash community who answered questions, tested Gleyo, shared feedback, organized workshops, created learning resources, and helped make this project possible.
Thank you all. ![]()
