Introducing Gleyo, A ZEC-Native Quest & Community Growth Platform (ZecHub Hackathon 3.0)

Excited to finally share Gleyo, a ZEC-native quest and community growth platform I’ve been building over the past few months.

Gleyo enables communities to fund a shared wallet with ZEC, create quests, reward contributors directly in shielded ZEC, run a built-in community chat, and measure long-term engagement—all from one platform instead of stitching together multiple tools.

Everything demonstrated runs on Zcash mainnet, with end-to-end ZEC flows.

Since launching today, Gleyo has already onboarded 31 users on mainnet, completing quests, earning shielded ZEC, and providing real feedback that’s helped shape the platform along the way. One thing that surprised me was that none of them watched the demo video first. Instead, they naturally explored the platform, navigated to Account Settings, connected their Telegram accounts, verified their wallets, and completed quests on their own. That felt like a good sign that the platform is intuitive to use.

Beyond that, Gleyo has already seen real on-chain activity. I funded the Gleyo community with $10 worth of ZEC, and users have successfully completed shielded withdrawals. These aren’t simulated flows, it’s actual ZEC moving on mainnet.

Impressive stuff.

I’m curious to what extent those quests can be customized and whether it would work without a smartphone, but already very interesting regardless.

The quest system is already quite customizable. Communities can create different types of quests, such as quizzes, GitHub tasks, and community tasks, each with their own rewards and requirements. The idea is to give communities the flexibility to design quests that best fit their goals, and I’ll continue expanding those capabilities over time.

And yes, it works without a smartphone. Gleyo is fully web-based and responsive, so everything including creating quests, completing them, chatting, funding communities, and withdrawing rewards, can be done from a desktop or tablet browser as well.

I’m super impressed man. How soon would this be optimized for mobile, or is it already?

Gleyo is already fully mobile-optimized, it’s built responsive from the ground up, and I use Cloudflare caching on top, so it loads fast across devices, whether you’re on a laptop, tablet, or phone browser. No separate mobile app needed; everything (quests, chat, wallet connection, withdrawals) works the same experience on mobile as desktop.

Thank you, Elzz, And genuinely, the @Zec_Forge community jumping in early to test Gleyo made a real difference.

Funny enough, some of Gleyo’s feature set actually traces back to your Contributor Workshop, the whole lifecycle you walked through (education, onboarding, activation, alignment, retention) ended up directly shaping how I structured quests and progression in the platform. Small world that it comes full circle here.
