Is Zcash Post-Quantum? [Help wanted :D + Proposal]

Hello to all,

I did a small research on PQ features of Zcash.

I should say this in advanced: most of the research is done by my Claude agent. As much as I know the infrastructure in any of the parts, the result is correct, and I found no problems. It might have missed some parts that only the core devs know, so please update me on them.

Now, about the artifact, I want some help and I have a proposal.

The help I want: I’d appreciate any criticism on the facts, completeness, and style of it. If you have time, please take a look and make me happy by saying “this part is wrong, and the correct one is this”, “you missed this”, or “if the page is designed like this it would be better.”

The proposal: If Zcash Community and Devs find this useful, I can make it a general visualization of the PQ roadmap of Zcash; of course with help of HUMAN devs (where ever I lack knowledge or insight), instead of just relying on Claude. I can even add features to it to become something like forkcast.org for Zcash.

Please share your mind on it.

I think you are the best in the help I want. If you have time, could you take a look?
Or if you can’t find the time, tell me at least would such a “PQ Roadmap” or “forkcast for Zcash” project excite you?

AFAIK most of Zcash is symmetric hash algorithms, which are Grover’s vulnerable, not Shor’s, so they are still reasonably secure.

And Tachyon aims to achieve post-quantum security for Zcash.

Have you had the time to take a brief look to the artifact, in general?

And apart from that, would you consider my proposal useful, as a member of the community?
