ECC is participating in a virtual two-week hackathon, Protect Privacy, which starts on June 15th and ends June 29th. For June’s Zeal call, we’re inviting all developers who submitted to join the call and present their projects. The community will then vote on their favorite project and the winner will get the Community Choice Award. Check out this thread for hackathon ideas. Register here.
Sheila Warren is Head of Blockchain, Digital Assets, and Data Policy at the World Economic Forum. Recently the WEF announced the Presidio Principles to help organizations think through how to protect users in the design of decentralized applications. ECC was among the first signatories. Sheila will walk us through the principles and explain how these guidelines can help in the future development of decentralized technologies.
Zeal Community calls are scheduled once a month and cover a range of topics such as guest speakers from other privacy organizations and occasional technical AMAs. Register here for the monthly calls.
