Miner- [NiceHash] Zcash CPU/GPU for Linux and Windows

I meant “soon to be mining” Zcash and no longer mine XMR :stuck_out_tongue:

Just got it as you posted lol, was trying to remove

Cant wait for this new miner from nicehash.

You guys seriously rock compared to so many other devs who wanted big $ for a payout.

Everyone should use nicehash as a thank you.

Yep, Nicehash is looking at the long game, and not making a quick profit. I am more likely to use their pool if they open source their software etc.

It is already on GitHub.

windows GPu miner?
download link anyone?

github has the out date code
hopefully they release new code soon that is optimized for cpu and works with GPU also!!

Not yet. I will be checking and if anything pops up i will let you know.

Anyone have advice on how to correct this problem? I’m trying to install this forked version (Releases · ocminer/nheqminer · GitHub) onto a ubuntu 16.10 instance. I follow the steps and after I run (a) qmake …/nheqminer/nheqminer.pro (b) make, I receive errors that “cannot be used when making a shared object” and it fails.

I couldn’t figure out the github instructions: make sure you have qmake in your PATH. Is this causing my problem, or does anyone have some tips?

What’s your h/s with that CPU?

Can someone guess what solver going to be final on 28th Oct. Do anyone here believe that GPU solver will surely be out?
is premature to invest in buying hardware required for mining rig or still we need to wait a lil bit.

Nicehash is a longtime and well respected member of the crypto community. They’re great (and funny) guys. All that you see from them is an open process and that is why I recommend them over cloud-mining.

Nicehash is an open sourced, decentralized, peer to peer marketplace for buyers and sellers of hashing power.

The people behind it are accessible and as you see even their software is open source. There are no gimmicks or "gotcha!"s

Most cloud mining companies, especially the biggest ones are proprietary, “black box”, centralized and require a lot of trust on the part of the consumer.

If I had no GPU miners of my own, or couldn’t run them, I’d buy some hashing power from Nicehash to mine ZCash. There’s a reason they have been around so long in a space full of “fly-by-night” companies:

Quality, capability and honesty.

Agreed. I wish they would release the Beta of their new CPU/GPU miner asap though so the community can poke at it for issues.

You and me both. He said they will probably post it today. crosses fingers.

Thanks for the bug report, nicehashdev. Will fix in my repo too.

Around 24 sols/s with tromps code.

Seems promising for my Dual-Xeon E5-2670. Should hit about 50 sols/s or more

@DanLar75 Someone here tested the 2670 with 9.85 sol/s…

@cascadiacrypto thx. for the info …, Im also thinking about to buy some of those engineering sample procs :-)…, but I will wait to get a big picture after launch …

That can’t be with the same solver you got 24 sols/s on your Xeon since the 2670 has equal cores, cache memory, and higher clock speed. I hope

Why dont realse the newer version of the CPU miner if this are ready? We need to pre-config your hardware, please, and also, now (26) equihash pay more than every another CPU algos, please share new version!
