Miner- [NiceHash] Zcash CPU/GPU for Linux and Windows

Of course, personally though I think they should release whatever they can whenever they can because I find the testing interesting as well.

I do however completely understand that they are a business and must prioritize what their customer base preference lies.

same! the green rigs want to be tested

Um, you’re wrong…

Ask the guys at getpimp.org (who bundle PiMP with Nicehash profiles), or Nicehash themselves…

I might be, and it would surprise me. I’ll have to check it out.

Is there a step-by-step guide for using NiceHash to mine Zcash?

yes yes please release CPU miner with xenon improvements! that would boost your pools hash a ton!!

So not much of an improvement on the current GPU miner

what about a release on github for testing  @nicehashdev

We are not making any improvements, just putting existing code together and making it work on various platforms.

will the GPU integration be released today?

What i don’t understand is, why don’t you just offer your miner with a fee like claymore or make it that it can only be mined on your pool?
What is the point of renting all 200 of my Gpu’s on nicehash to get bitcoin so i can rent someone elses hash so i can mine zcash. Seems a bit backwards to be honest

Stop complaining Nicehash opensourced their previous build, its editable for other pools and OCminer did his own build.

YES! released today is a good things

I don’t see any complaints. Just suggestions and a question…

We respect licenses; we cannot create private miner using source codes that have licenses that do not permit that. Since we used part of Zcash code, we are obligated to open everything we add to it.

nicehash is no pool, its more like a proxy

also its not intended to mine alts directly as a provider of hashpower, just plain btc

if all you want to mine is alts not btc you are better off mining them directly at a pool

Test them well and report back any issues.

Dependencies for linux are the same as before we just need to clone this repo ?
