Miner- [NiceHash] Zcash CPU/GPU for Linux and Windows

8350, 8gb 1600mhz

6,7 I/s
12,1 Sols/s

I would say it make no differenceā€¦in my case I tried it with 4 processes of nheqminer with each -t 8 cause of 2 sockets each 8 Cores Ć” 16 threads. Only hit ~ 7 Sol/s per process what equal to one process with -t 32 (~30 Sol/s). Can someone explain?

thanks, I seemed to be getting slightly higher performance with -t 10 compared to -t 20 but I will experiment some more.

Is there something similar for the linux version on multiple socket servers?

You need to set nodes accordingly too not only multiple processes. And if that doesnā€™t help, set affinities.

You are right. You can order Zcash mining by buying hashing power though (like explained here).

Only with the Gpu.
But i think that can be improved, i donā€™t know how to tweek blocks and threads, righ now im using the default settings 140 blocks and 64 threads

sorry but can you explain node setup with windows? I do not really know how to do that :frowning:

Do you think the GPU miner for any high end card will ever beat a high end cpu like 2680v4 doing 100sol/s ?

That must be with CPU, as my 1080 gets 18 sols

I found one problem: I can run 2 instances of the miner on my 1080, one get 32 S/s and another 16.

Only after lots of optimization

Yeah, now i put -t 0 bfore the -cd to see, droped to 19 S/s

Any idea why cuda wonā€™t kick in with a Quadro 4000 2 GB ? Meters shows rare spikes at 15%ā€¦ tried -cb and -ct ā€¦ even -cb -ct ā€¦ no changes ā€¦ also, havenā€™t noticed cou improvements with the new version.

You need to set some numbers for cb and ct. Do -h first to learn how to use it.

Miner crashes on a 6x rx470 rig is that expected ?

What is the status on AMD support?

It looks like working on Windows, now doing Linux portā€¦

That xenoncat AVX2 solver truly rocks! My notebook cpu (i7-5700HQ) got 6.3-6.5 I/s while the gpu (GTX 965M) got only 3 I/s
