Miner- [NiceHash] Zcash CPU/GPU for Linux and Windows

How can I point this to the suprnova pool? because mine says unautorized worker or no such host??

You can’t. They created the miner and you need to use their pools

oh well then that sucks

Wait for OCminer at suprnova (has a thread here, too) to fork it for his pool. He’s still on 0.2a at the moment.

How many watts is each card drawing or total please?

Much less than ETH mining

Wow, after all this time, still no source and still not working for Linux? Why not just commit what you have and let others fix it building in LInux?

Yea, I was reading his tread too. mining there is doable without a wallet. Or I need to make a wallet on a kryptocurrency exchange…

Since this link is hard to find I am posting it again

https://github.com/nicehash/nheqminer/releases/download/0.2a/nheqminer_v0.3a.zip

You can leave the coins on the pool until you have an address you want to use for withdraw. I’m not endorsing them, just noting it since zcash mining is quite limited atm.

so is zcash launching soon? Have they actually given a time?

13 minutes…

We don’t know yet. (20 char)

thats exactly why im not mining on nicehash zcash pool, im definitely not going through the struggles of cli-only wallets on linux, will mine and wait for gui wallet, makes sending and receiving much easier

and no open source nicehash miner for linux.

supernova countdown right? I was wondering if that was correct or not.

what? isn’t this an opensource miner for nicehash? GitHub - nicehash/nheqminer: Equihash miner for NiceHash

its old version (source)

I entered my private address in start.bat file and it crashed after loading up. terminals says worker unauthorized? i thought this was anonymous mining?

what is this ā€˜old’ version missing? just GPU stuff? I’ll be cpu mining at launch, is the newer version significantly faster on CPU mining or is the newer version just adding GPU capability?
