Miner- [NiceHash] Zcash CPU/GPU for Linux and Windows

I’ve tried the feeleep75 miner on Windows 10, thats running great!

But i also want to run it on Server 2012R2 hosts with diffent CPU’s:

-Dual Xeon X5650: It crashes immediately after starting.
-Dual Xeon E5-2640: It starts but it’s very slow, about 3H/s

Any tips on getting this miner running well on above hosts?

Hello Niki, is this software configured to make use of all real cores? currently my server has 4 socket Xeon CPUs with 6 cores each… so that should give me 24 real cpus right? is there a way to make nheqminer fully utilize all the cores?

Setting log level to 2
Benchmark starting… this may take several minutes, please wait…

what should be parameters for trying solo mining… and whats zcash rc1 default port number?

can u explain, thank you

@fomosapiens All cores should be utilized. Why do you think they are not?

@NikiNiceHash AVX2 will faster? :笑脸:

great. for some reason my miner crashed over night. have you received any reports on that?

Thank you for reporting this. We will fix it soon.

Thanks for the info, hope you guys can get this out to everyone before the 28th.

Is that the one your talking about?

I wish I knew Linux now.

I am waiting on you guys now for the windows version built into your miner.

Thanks

Are NiceHash buyers pay for H/s or Sol/s ?

Other services seem to measure in Sol / s
But on your website you measure in KH/s (1000 H/s) ?

Good with a little explanation so that we all playing by the same rules!

/Nimos

PS: I plan to sell so I want to know how my performance is measured DS

Very nice!

Looking forward for the CUDA miner.

Getting 24 mh/s on an overclocked Haswell-E.

@somebody We will.

@nimos We haven’t quite decided yet, but we will inform you all about the changes and updates.

@NikiNiceHash Does mining Equihash right now provide any payouts or is it testnet like Zcash is at the moment?

Yes currently its paying fractions of a fraction of a penny.

Are you doing cloud mining on nicehash?

@kklors @adaseb We are currently only testing Equihash. As you can see on our marketplace there is only a small number of orders and the prices as very, very low. But this is to be expected as buyers can only test at the moment and don’t mine what they will next week - we are all waiting the release date and marketplace to become alive

I test your miner with one of my mining rig and i can not connect to your EU server only USA server ?

EU server:

Connected!
read_until: End of file
Reconnecting in 3 seconds…
Connecting to stratum server

Are you planing to use xenoncat CPU implementation insted of tromp ?

On a Core i7 @ 4GHz, singel thread, tromp get
tromp: 4.5 Sol/s
xenoncat: 6.4 Sol/s
That’s 42% faster

/Nimos

From which country are you connecting to the EU server?

Norway…
