One thing the hackathon reinforced for me is that competitions are just one part of the journey.
Over the past few months, I’ve gone from an idea to building Gleyo into something people can actually use. That hasn’t changed because of the results. The goal has always been to build something genuinely useful for the Zcash ecosystem.
One thing that’s kept me going is the people I’ve met in the community. @Lowo88 told me, “Win now or later, what you built is useful.” Those words have stayed with me. @elzz-ux took the time to talk about the opportunity Gleyo could create for communities, which gave me another perspective on where it could go. @ogasky gave genuine feedback on the project, and @squirrel has consistently supported me throughout the journey.
My next focus is reaching out to communities, gathering letters of intent, and continuing to improve Gleyo based on real feedback. I’ll keep shipping, learning, and contributing.
