Well the code is based on the bitcoin code. What got me a bit is that they did not even do a find and replace in the code for bitcoin → zcash. In the zcashd client there are some printed warnings containing “bitcoin”. Pretty bad… That is why I have low expectations on the zCash dev team. Yet another reason I mine zClassic.
