Hey, I am trying to repurpose as much as I can from an old computer and was wondering if an Intel Core 2 Quad would be usable in a new mining rig. If not, which cpu/motherboard combo would be the most cost effective for a 4 gpu rig?
I had 2 computer with old core duo. It was working fine. Problem is they aren’t efficient. With same card on another new celeron computer it use less watt. At the end of the year you will see a difference.
