What is the 'image' for Grant applications for?

In a Zcash Community Grant application is this prompt:

Please upload an image for your public facing profile and proposal

It doesn’t describe what the image should be of. My face? A logo for the product?

It also has this:

Once you submit your application, the photo you upload will be shown publicly here.

Which I thought would be useful to see what kinds of images others have uploaded. But the link is broken.
