The cover screen gives quick access to the app and even better privacy.

  • slide left and right for your receiving addresses;
  • slide up and down to get your balance.

The balance can be hidden and only revealed when you tilt the phone up.

@hanh I wanted to send a transaction this morning and I can’t find the memo field.

What am I missing?

Its usually at the bottom in the tx builder screen. Did you put in an address first?

A lot is going on in ywallet/warp at the moment, as you can see in the github repo. Some of it will be backported to ywallet 1.x, but I’m not sure how much.

For example: ywallet/zcash-warp has

  • faster sync,
  • support for unified secret keys, viewing keys, and addresses. ~20 different types of keys
  • support for transparent-only accounts with derivation of additional transparent addresses
  • multi-receiver payment uris
  • advanced TX builder
  • better stability
  • etc.

The last update to Ywallet will be the next Network Upgrade (unless something important comes up).
That’s because I have to drop support for Ycash (at least for the moment) and make some incompatible upgrades to the app. Ywallet will become Zkool (because ZK is cool and it sounds like school).

Ywallet → continues with Ycash + Zcash and bug fixes
Zkool → hot stuff but no Ycash

I don’t understand. Will zkool be a new wallet dedicated only to Zcash? Is it compatible with Ywallet?

Sounds like until Ycash adopts some of the Zcash updates the Zkool will be Zcash only.

I imagine if Ycash chooses to follow Zcash protocol then Zkool would probably be retired so Ywallet would be the only version Hanh has to maintain.
