Highlights

  • Zcash Brazil at Blockchain.RIO 2026 (August 12-13): the biggest blockchain event in Latin America, and by far our biggest so far in size, budget, people, and expenses, and it paid off. Two full days of non-stop flow at the booth: continuous onboarding, an in-person trivia activity, and giveaways for every participant. “Zebrão”, the giveaways, and the visual identity did the heavy lifting: design turned out to be our best way to start a conversation. The real return, though, came after the doors closed. The post-event meetings have not stopped since; builders, creators, media, and companies that had never sat down for a serious conversation about financial privacy are now doing exactly that with us. Several partnerships are already taking shape, and we will announce them as they land. Rio put Zcash in front of an audience that does not read our Discord, and left us with a pipeline of work for the months ahead.

  • RadioZec: initial development and deployment of a new online radio platform built around Zcash: a shared playlist where users add songs through $ZEC donations, plus a live broadcasting function for team shows.
  • GameHub: completed and battle-tested at Blockchain.RIO — the in-person trivia software the team ran at the booth. zcashbr/gamehub
  • Ironwood maintenance across ZecStats.info, ZcashMetro.io, and ZecFaucet.com, keeping everything compatible with the upgrade.
  • zec.live: LiveZEC keeps shipping: theme system for the overlay, Ironwood-only addresses for simpler QR codes, three languages plus timezone support, donation report exports with 2FA protection, voice alerts, “LiveZEC Anywhere”, and the GTA VI Ultimate Edition “Road to Vice City” giveaway.
