Zcash Community Grants Milestone 3 Report (March 2026)
“Most media pipelines today are built for distribution. Speed, reach, and engagement come first. Editing and compression happen early, collapsing recordings into finished outputs. What remains is single-use, disposable content.”
For Zk Av Club, March focused on recruiting for two key roles: The Archivist and The Storyteller.
These roles are fundamental to Zk Av Club’s workflow. An interim Archivist is supporting the process to ensure the role is ready to be filled. Timelines across other workstreams were adjusted to prioritize recruiting and onboarding.
Applications are open through March 31 (UTC). Onboarding is scheduled for mid-April. Apply here.
In parallel, infrastructure and internal documentation are being developed to support workflows and onboarding.
This work enables publishing and preserving Zcash ecosystem and cypherpunk media under community control.
1) Recruiting: The Archivist & The Storyteller
Completed:
- Finalized role definitions and responsibilities
- Designed trial tasks and evaluation criteria

- Publishing backlog items
- Public outputs dashboard
