ZecHub Grant for KBCC 2026
In order to make our first appearance at KBCC 2026, Zcash EAST AFRICA received a grant from ZecHub to fund the next phase of structured execution. ZecHub’s official announcement: https://x.com/ZecHub/status/2033595714085818493
The grant covered the execution of our appearance at the kbcc conference and also hosting our first meetup.

At the event we spoke with different founders and also got their opinions on Privacy tech which was positive.
The effects of our meeting at KBCC led to the decision to host our 1st meetup.
Zcash East Africa 1st Meetup
We had our first meetup at the Egerton University shortly after our appearance at KBCC 2026, the meetup brought privacy tech to the students through wallet downloads, claimed their first $zec and discussions on the essence of financial privacy.
