High conviction investments are riskier, but also have higher payoffs. In this case, when making an investment in a particular thing, such as high quality and broadly applicable educational content, it is better to invest deeply in strong talent in support of that thing, establishing strong roots and alignment, than to spray and pray that something good might happen.
