Zcash Nigeria 2025 (APPROVED)

The month of March 2025 was filled with impactful activities aimed at expanding Zcash adoption, fostering community engagement, and strengthening grassroots awareness in Nigeria. The Zcash Nigeria team successfully organized events, digital engagements, and community-building initiatives that further our mission of promoting financial privacy and blockchain education across the region.

Twitter Space Collaboration with CryptoEvangelist Community

In March, we collaborated with the CryptoEvangelist community to host an engaging Twitter Space session. over 500 people tuned in demonstrating a strong interest in Zcash and privacy-focused blockchain solutions. Key discussions revolved around financial privacy, the role of Zcash in decentralized finance, and strategies for increasing adoption in Africa.

Establishment of Zclub at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta

One of our major milestones this month was the successful registration of Zclub at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Zclub is an initiative aimed at bringing Zcash education closer to students by establishing dedicated clubs in various institutions of learning. These clubs will serve as hubs where students regularly meet to discuss Zcash, financial privacy, Web3, and localized adoption strategies.

Zclub MAPOLY Leadership: The club will be led by CJFrankie, an active member of the Zcash Nigeria team.
Future Plans: We plan to expand the Zclub initiative across multiple institutions in Nigeria to create a strong student-driven Zcash community.

Throughout March, we continued our digital outreach by producing and sharing high-quality content to educate and engage the community. Our efforts included:

Well-researched articles on Zcash, privacy, and its use cases.

Memes, Twitter posts, and threads to drive engagement and spread awareness.

Translation of the Zcash Ecosystem Digest into Yoruba, making information more accessible to the Yoruba-speaking community.

Zealy Sprint Campaign (Second Edition) to gamify learning and engagement within the Zcash Nigeria community, rewarding active participants.
