Background: Ogasky is a developer, community manager and founder of WittyHub. He has hosted and organized web3 events in Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda and Zimbabwe, as well as X-Spaces events. He is an advocate of Financial Privacy and Blockchain Education. He was trained in China on Artificial Intelligence in the year 2024, and he leads the Zcash Ghana community project. His vision is to see that more real use case projects are built on the Zcash Blockchain protocol. ### Project Summary
To continue to scale the Zcash Ghana community activities through well informed Financial Privacy and Blockchain Educational contents resources, towards onboarding more Ghanaians and businesses to the Zcash Blockchain protocol.
### Project Description
The Zcash Ghana driving focus is to continue onboarding Ghanaians crypto users and businesses to the Zcash blockchain through its mission of blockchain education and financial privacy. This project started officially on June 30th 2025 with the creation of its X (twitter) handle @ZcashGH, where contents promoting Zcash and financial privacy were posted. Also we have been able to host 4 X-Space events and 4 physical meetups where we have educated over 150 persons in all the in-person meetups about Zcash and onboard them to Zcash through the creation of their Zcash wallets. Currently we now have the skills to setup the Zcash Node and we have over 300 followers on our X handle (@ZcashGH).
The Goal is to continue building an active Zcash Ghana community across various cities in Ghana. Educate Ghanaians about Zcash’s privacy features and real-world applications. Increase the accessibility of Zcash-related content and enhance user engagement through interactive activities, contests, and webinars. Encourage discussions on blockchain privacy and financial security within Ghana and ensuring wider adoption and understanding of privacy-focused blockchain technology in Ghana and Africa at large. Foster collaborations between Zcash and regional blockchain developers to create new privacy-focused solutions.
We intend to carryout the following activities monthly to achieving these goals:

We are asking for this grant to help us continue building the Zcash Ghana community through our various blockchain education and financial privacy activities which include the 6 items mentioned above, as well as collaborate with other web3 communities, all these leading towards more adoption of the Zcash blockchain protocol in Ghana.
### Proposed Problem
The key challenge that this project will address is the lack of awareness and understanding of financial privacy and the Zcash’s innovative technology in Ghana. Despite the growing interest in cryptocurrencies, most individuals and businesses in Ghana are not aware of privacy-focused solutions like Zcash blockchain protocol, which could enable them to manage their finances safely, securely and privately.
By addressing these challenges, this project will bridge the knowledge gap, foster community engagement, and promote the adoption of Zcash in Ghana.
### Proposed Solution
We will carryout the following activities monthly towards providing solutions.
Organize Zcash Ghana physical meetups: This will be an in-person meetups where Ghanaians will be educated about financial privacy and the Zcash blockchain technology.
Organize Zcash Ghana developers workshop and/or hackathon: The purpose of this is to guide developers to build real used cases solutions on the Zcash blockchain protocol.
Organize Zcash Ghana Road shows and/or Street Talk shows: This will be done to create more awareness about Zcash at the grass root level.
Organize Zcash Ghana X-Space discussion: Relevant and trending topics on financial privacy and Zcash will be discussed to educate the community and the general audience.
Organize Zcash Ghana Community Challenge and Games: This will be done to encourage community participation and rewards.
Organize Zcash Ghana contents for social media posts: Financial Privacy and Blockchain Educational content will be curated and posted on the Zcash Ghana social media channels.
### Solution Format
Zcash Ghana is focus on Financial Privacy and Blockchain Education, towards community building, and real-world adoption. By raising awareness about financial privacy and showcasing the benefits of Zcash blockchain Technology, we aim to empower Ghanaians with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to manage their digital financial activities safely, securely and privately.
As Ghana continues to evolve in cryptocurrency adoption, now is the time to position Zcash as a trusted, practical, and widely-used privacy solution for individuals and businesses in Ghana.
