A couple of question, w/ apologies, Iām very new to this. Iām just running the tromp solver solo right now. If I run one of the miners you listed above, would I need to be running the zcash node at the same time w/o the gen=1?
Are the instructions literal? I notice under the compile section, thereās a spot where it says cmake ā¦, are those two periods part of the command rather than shorthand referring to something earlier? If I paste each line and hit enter, Iām good?
If a pool is attacked while Iām mining on it, what is the danger? Someone above asked if it was safe to connect yet after an attack. Whatās the nature of the danger they were referring to?

Thanks for the pool, it seems to be working great and I like the simple and fast web UI.
However, the combined hashrate has been dropping like crazy since I started mining. Also, the minimum payout seems to be 5 times higher than with most other pools. Maybe the two are connected, as small miners realize they wonāt see any coins until months from now. I think you should really consider decreasing that limit by a good margin!
Unfortunatly mining is quite centralized at the moment and the popularity of the pool is a bit low.
This means that time between blocks is quite high but also that your reward for each block will be higher.

Yes you have to copy the commands exactly as they are.
The only danger is your miner doing nothing while the pool is not working.
All your funds will be safe.

The payment is now set at 0.001 but it will only send payments if the total of all payments is higher then 0.1.
Otherwise the pool canāt pay for the fees.
Payments are set to happen every hour instead of every 6 hours.

Is there a command line for linux i could use to enable gpu? Im mining with just cpu at the moment but would like to enable my amd gpu on linux?

I think there are seperate GPU miners around but Iām not sure.
I havenāt been able to check the miners these last 2 days and things change fast.
Iām not sure if Iām dealing with my address correctly.
I used getnewaddress to create t1gAGhQX3AfCRhBxW9GKXJkVauE7mqT1MsX but I do not find it in the zchain browser and itās balance remains 0 after more than 6 hours.
Am I being impatient or did I need to replace some built-in address with the new one I created (and passed to zminer).
Where would I normally find the intital address zminer would be using?

Well this is just embarrassing. How do I properly stop mining while using the zmine/razakal version of nheqminer? Is there anything like ./src/zcash-cli stop for this? I was think of trying the @sarath-hotspot version with avx1 instead of tromp, but Iām not sure whether ending the nheqminer process in ubuntuās system monitor would have any bad effects. 
Since everything seems to be humming I probably just havenāt hit the 0.0005 ZEC minimum.

Same thought here, if this keeps happening Iāll be pointing my miner to supernova.

Thereās a lot of luck involved when mining on lower hashrate pools.
You might go 48hrs without a block or get lucky and mine 2 or even 3.
Current blockreward is 0.90ZEC

We donā t know yet. Iāll set the mark @ 24hr. If still nothing then Iām going.
Already trying supernova on my other machine, seems to work fine.
