I can no longer reply on the zkool thread so continuing here. My ironwood migration is stuck. It has split into multiples of 10, apart from one that is on 0.005. The countdown gets to ‘waiting 0s’ and then nothing happens. I leave it for a few hours and come back, exit and restart and there has been no progress.
What wallet version and platform/OS is it?
It’s version 6.28.1 and I’m on Windows 10. I use the zip file version
One thing you could try is to clear the sync data. Go to settings-> account manager.
Tap on the account icon and then tap the edit
button.
Tap the trash can botton in the top right. it will prompt you with the reset option and explain what will happen. It won’t delete the account, but it will clear the database and you will need to rescan.
Anything shown on the console when you run the app from a command shell?
The regular command prompt cmd.exe would be best. It’s simpler and seemingly always a non-elevated session by default vs. Powershell which may or may not be (in my experience, it always was).
Hello guys
Sorry but I am getting this error , tried resetting and sync , still not able to send to a tex address.
I am running the latest version, on Android.
What should I do?
Thanks in advance
Did check if it is a valid address, it is . Did already sent to it previously too with Ywallet.
Tried with Ywallet too now , same error type. …
There was a similar zkool tex conversion error reported recently as well. Ywallet won’t transact anymore but good callout. Zkool will allow for t2t. You can manually convert the address yourself and then execute a fully transparent transaction (what tex addys are for). Otherwise just wait for the patch ![]()
Thanks for the reply.
The tex encoding instructs the wallet to first deshield funds to its own transparent address. And then send to the receiver transparent address, which is actually encoded inside. Zkool can perform transparent transactions (meaning you can send to a t address at all), but the purpose of the tex address coming from the exchange is to prevent sending any shielded notes whatsoever. It must be 100% fully transparent.
Console gets to:
INFO rlz::migrate: SD split: [(120000, 4)]
INFO rlz::migrate: SD split (reserved 500000 for fees):
And no further.
I tried resetting the account and resyncing. It didn’t make any difference unfortunately
Can you check the Notes tab? Most of the notes should be in Ironwood with standard denominations (1, 10, 100, … , 0.1, …). There are some small Orchard notes left over that sum up to 0.005-0.0062 ZEC?
It is fixed. I have used tex addresses recently.
They are all Orchard in standard denomination except for one note that is 0.005 (and some very small font digits after)
- Does each resume produce exactly one new SD split (reserved 500000 for fees): log line (or similar), then nothing?
- Non-SD Orchard total in the dead zone (500,000–619,999 zats)?
The last one is the condition for a known bug…
Fixed in Release zkool: v6.29.0-rc.4 · hhanh00/zkool2 · GitHub (pre-release)
Might want to wait for a release
Ah yes, I tried it again and was confused when the migration started working. Then I realised I had toggled the 0.005 note. Thank you. I’ll wait for the release to finish it.
