ASROCK H81 Pro Btc VERSION 2 BIOS

ive heard paperclips are safe, but I’m not an expert so maybe search a little more on the subject and make a decision to what you think is safe

there should be a bios option to autorestart after powerloss, all my rigs are set to that, if hte power cuts or resets they turn right back on and start mining

I know the setting on Bios to restart on electricity loss, will try paperclips maybe they are better than simple phone cable :).
Now I have;

  • 1000W - 3 RX470 - 2RX480 -900 sols stock
    -600W - 1 RX480 (will add another 1RX480) - 173 Sols stock
    -Comming soon 750W - 4 RX480

I just use a plain cable to shorten the pins. No resistor.

It works with the adapter you posted obove, but I do not know if this adapter might have some safety to prevent sparking and exploding GPUs. :egg:

and you dont necessarily need the HMDI to DSUB, you can get a DVI to DSUB and that makes it simple and removable - proabbly cheaper than an HDMI to DSUB, but i guess either will work… i think i read you can just do it directly to the DVI on the GPU, but maybe an extender is safer…

but i dont use those, i just use an HDMI switch and have all my rigs plugged in to the switch and then into one montior so I can fool around and try new miners easily etc. an HDMI switch will also trick the rigs into thinking they are plugged into a working monitor (maybe as long as the switch it plugged into a monitor)

Until I find resistance (maybe a week) I will use paperclips. Later will change it.
Funny thing is my 600W has RX480 same and it does not need screen! to start.

I could not find DVI-D type to VGA. It was eaiser and faster to find HDMI to VGA.

I can order you a baggie of resistors if you want anything else from www.cryptomined.com
guess I should put DVI to DSUB in www.crytpomined.com then

Actually would be very good but the import law of my country is very bad. Either it stucks for 1 month or I have to pay high import tax.

In china/usa most of the things are cheaper.

usually EMS is good, DHL gets stuck at customs more. what country are you in?
maybe i ship to your country regularly

I live in Turkey. EMS stucks for 1 month. I am still waiting Asrock H81 for my 750W system almost 20 days.
DHL/UPS usually stucks at customs and asks %20-25 extra tax.

hmm, i do ship many items to Tuykey using EMS. never heard of any problems, but maybe they do get stuck, I am not sure, but i cant remember people from turkey complain about customs to me before.

DHL is worst, always stuck, I import sometimes using DHL, stuck,… neeed to fill out forms… pay duty and tax… horrible.

usually Amazon is ok because we work DDP (Delivery duty paid), even paying customs tax to amazon is fine.

However if it stucks at customs it is really pain.

yes really upsetting to have a package sit at customs, especially when you dont mind paying… i don’t know why some customs need to hold it… they do that here sometimes also

dummy screen worked with @AnorakSupra hdmi vga changer and wire
