Berlin Blockchain Week and DWeb Camp 2026 | Zk Av Club

Zero-knowledge Audiovisual Club is headed to Berlin this summer!

We’re inviting people to come out, take part, and help shape what happens there.

We’ll be running Recording Stations and other activations across Berlin Blockchain Week and at DWeb Camp. If you’ve been looking for a hands-on way to get involved in Zk Av Club, this is a good moment to do it.

These events are particularly meaningful to the project:

What We’re Considering

These are the events that are on our radar:

We’ll add more as we connect with organizers.

We’re in conversation with Web3 Privacy Now (W3PN) about doing something special together at the Neo Cypherpunk Congress and DWeb Camp.

Zk Av Club worked with WebZero at Sub0 during the Buenos Aires Recording Station tour last November, and we’re looking forward to reconnecting in Berlin this summer.

Zk Av Clubhouse :high_voltage:

During Berlin Blockchain Week, extending through the start of DWeb Camp, we plan to rent an apartment in Berlin to use as a shared base for Zk Av Club contributors. It’s where we’ll stay, work, decompress, and figure things out between events.

The Clubhouse and related costs are covered through our grant from the Zcash Community Grants (ZCG) program.

Invitation to Volunteer :shield:

The Zk Av Club Recording Station is run entirely by volunteers. Participation is invite-only and based on prior involvement.

We expect to invite five or six volunteers (per event) to take part across activations in Berlin between June and July. You can join for part of the schedule or stay for the full run. This is a small, focused group working closely together.

Volunteers will have priority for staying at the Zk Av Clubhouse during Berlin Blockchain Week.

Costs and Support

  • Travel: You are expected to cover your own travel to and from Berlin
  • Additional support: For contributors who have been active in Zk Av Club, we may help find support for travel
  • DWeb Camp: Zk Av Club will cover Recording Station crew tickets, food, and lodging using a portion of the ZCG grant.

Get Involved

If you’re planning to be in Berlin, or want to take part more directly:

  • tell us which events we should show up at
  • visit a Zk Av Club Recording Station
  • or reach out if you’d like to contribute

We’ll share more details as plans come together.

Berlin is where this work took shape.

If you can make it, come.
If you want to contribute, reach out.

Zk Av Club — Don’t just watch.

The Rabbit and the Clown: A Performance by Fly, Lauscher, and Mandina at DWeb

Three performers sit on the ground at DWeb. A tarot card is passed between them. What follows is a conversation, just of a different kind.

Fly holds the Fool, card zero of the Major Arcana, the archetype of the one who walks off the cliff with eyes on the horizon. In his work as a catalyst for innovation, the Fool is not a liability, it is the posture that makes new things possible where others have long given up. Meanwhile Lauscher and Mandina listen deeply and perform. Each of them present in their own register, and all somehow in complete communion.

The Rabbit and the Clown: A Performance by Fly, Lauscher, and Mandina at DWeb

This performance asks something most technical spaces don’t make room for: what if the Fool is not the opposite of the builder, but the beginning of one?

Zcash Community Grants Candidate: Building for Everyone in the Room

At the Blockspäti during Berlin Blockchain Week, Mylo Bennett sits down at the recording station to record their candidate video for the Zcash Community Grants committee: three questions from the community, followed by a chat with Ryan.

The answers are lean and practical. With a much bigger budget, Mylo sees room for long-term projects and the unflashy infrastructure of the ecosystem, like a simulated blockchain developers could run on a laptop, as Ethereum’s Hardhat does. Zcash’s biggest opportunity is the people being debanked, those who have lost access to banking, and the tools they would need: payroll, escrow, accounting.

Then the conversation widens. Why Zcash belongs in the wider crypto ecosystem, why Mylo is willing to be its face, and the workshops for gig workers and others on the edge of the banking system.

Mylo helped bring this event to life, and the bartenders and vendors were onboarded so they could take tips in Zcash and cash out. As Mylo puts it, it’s not just about the guests in this space.
