I’m curious what zcash has done for blockchain bloat, and the plan to keep size down? Any info?

A quick comparison: most Bitcoin transaction are typically 1 input - 2 outputs with the size of around 200 bytes. A Zcash private transaction has a size of under 1KB arcording to Zerocash whitepaper.
Therefore I think bandwidth and diskspace requirement for Zcash would roughly be several times higher than Bitcoin if both chain has same transaction thoughput.

A Zcash transaction is a bit larger than a Zerocash transaction, mainly because of the memo fields, but this conclusion is still broadly accurate.
