This thread is for community members, moderators, and yes, even developers to post potential features that they wish to see in the Zcash ecosystem someday, and for people who can work on them to pick them up.
We’ll eventually evolve this into a website where it can be neatly categorised!

Was inspired by the Zcasher Wish List lol, except we intend to build it for real haha
A simple wallet finder for newcomers would be useful. Instead of expecting people to understand all the terminology first, it could ask what they want to do—use shielded or transparent ZEC, manage multiple chains, connect a hardware wallet, or buy and swap—and then show compatible wallets with clearly dated capability labels.
For example, someone looking for a multichain wallet could discover Gem Wallet, while someone who specifically needs shielded transactions would be directed to a wallet that currently supports them.
Not a ranking, just a practical way to avoid choosing a wallet and discovering too late that it cannot perform the intended action.
