In the right hands these bulk listings are really a steal, especially the 16 pack. Remember single items of the collection already sold for 1.05 and 4.95 ETH. Furthermore, the buyer of the 16 pack will also move the CZ collection past the 100 ETH on OpenSea.
Perhaps the artists could provide other resolutions/formats? Iām actually more saddened with 1. the lipstick on robot characters, 2. the pancakes. I think these are ruining the collection, which is otherwise great.
nft market is difficult to predict. There are many variablesš„ŗ
NFT Buyout Opportunity
The whole Cyperpunk Zero NFT collection owned by brocktakeshi for sale. The collection consists of 30 Cypherpunk Zero NFTs.
Due to limitations of OpenSea I cannot list them all at the same time. Please contact me on the community forum or discord with an offer!
I would also love to create a custom Cypherpunk from the original layers. The combination I would choose myself doesnāt exist as an NFT, so even if I could afford it, there wouldnāt be any way for me to buy it.
Is there any chance you could be convinced to release the layers (under a sufficiently permissive license to be able to create and display custom combinations)? Iām not sure which license would be best for something like this, but perhaps one with attribution?
I admit there might be some concern about derivatives attempting to profit from this (or other kinds of misuse), but frankly these risks already exist today. The current controvercy around RRBAYC, is a good demonstration you might know that you canāt copy an NFT (only the images). Public blockchains make it easy to cryptographically verify whether a collection is legitimate or not.
In any case, since this is a promotion for Zcash with the intention of reaching as many people as possible I would argue there is not much to gain from being overly restrictive (when it comes to the artworks). In my mind Cypherpunks value public goods. When we share, everyone wins.
@tokidoki @rosenthvl (not sure who has any say in this)
I think copymint is a legitimate concern for a project that hasnāt fully launch. @cypherpunkZero collection still has a long way to go for it to get the street-cred it deserves.
Iām more curious about the next chapters of Zero story on halo.electriccoin.co
btw Iām not involved in the creation of the collection. Iām just a forum mod here. Cheers!
This user is going about making tons of offers on alot CZ NFTs :
Sold #6092 to this user just to see how it would work when accepting it, couple of notes:
- Accepting the offer cost $30 in ETH
- The offer is in WETH, unwrapping costs around $3
The person offered 0.1 WETH however I end up with about 0.07 ETHā¦
Edit:
Also the unwrapping is not a smooth processā¦
Still havent been able to swap my WETH, my Ledger is not allowing it or something.
It seems that I am now stuck with WETH
Edit Edit:
It seems that you can make unlimited offers with your WETH
optimistic about this project.
Phew, those extra costs are quite high. If they are this way because of gas, do the operations only when the network has low usage. When I purchased my NFTs I always tried to minimize gas costs, usually purchased at < 35 gwei, sometimes it might be as low as 15 gwei or even lower (when the Americans are asleep, I believe )
When it is congested it jumps to >80 and that will eat up your ETH when performing a transaction.
You can go to other community projects to communicate more, attract more community users to join us, and buy our CZNFT for a long time.
Yeah⦠Its crazy. Somewhere I read that OpenSea would integrate ImmutableX and so I figured this would not have to be the case anymore.
Its issues like this that a Cypherpunk Zero DAO would be usefull, besides ensuring and protecting the CZ NFTs street-cred + help newcomers more easily become part of the Cypherpunk Zero history, to inform the community when to buy xD
That reminds me⦠maybe people here would like to vote on the Cypherpunk Zero DAO:
I usually monitor Etherscan gas tracker and mostly buy or accept offers when the gas is 10 to 15 gwei, which translates to around .003 ETH transaction fee on OpenSea. Wrapping / unwrapping WETH shouldnāt cost over .001 ETH at the same levels.
Comparatively decent amount of buying activity todayā¦not sure why one would sell for .04?? Sounds like would be a loss with gas fees. Mint cost was probably .02.
Nope. Havenāt seen any cigarettes, bandaid, eyepatches, hoodies, or weird cat ears
@brocktakeshi so youāre the one buying everything today.
