I agree with him. I’ve also used ETH to buy a lot of Zatoshi NFTs from OpenSea, and they’ve even been stolen. Now is the perfect time for Cypherpunk Zero to reemerge and countless Zolders to run wild with PFPs on X.

Unless they relaunch, this collection is no good. It has a bad contract and thats why everyone’s nft got stolen. So either return them to their owners or it remains where it is.

Does @ElectricCoinCo have any plan with the collection? I believe any transactions after the first batch of stolen NFTs should be treated as void. At least give the original owners the option to buy theirs if this collection is ever revived.

The Zcash community has been incredibly active lately, especially with so many projects launching NFTs on the Zcash chain.
Many of these projects claim to be the first NFT project on Zcash. However, the first Zcash NFT was Cypherpunk Zero, and its holders are the true OGs of the Zcash community.
Unfortunately, these OGs are feeling disappointed and hurt as they watch these copycat projects emerge.
The OGs deserve better than this. They should not be treated this way.
ECC/ZODL holds a snapshot taken just before the hack. Please, do the right thing and help set things right. @joshs @ElectricCoinCo @ZODL

For years, we have all simply hoped that our Zero would return to us
As many have mentioned above, we hope that ECC/ZODL will recover the Cypherpunk zero and utilize the snapshots they hold to allow pre-hack CZ NFT holders to claim them
Instead of relying on a “snapshot”, I can snapshot the chain before the hack and set up a smart contract to view your NFTs right now, tbh, pre-hack.
If you want me to do that, can you tell me the date of the hack?

Hey, we’ve decided to go with a Just-in-Time rescue pattern for Base Chain (Ethereum is very costly for a pet project).
We’ll clone the state at the block height, then use a data contract to upload it to the Base chain.
Your wallets will receive the NFT back via an “airdrop”, and you can send it around normally. It will NOT be legit or tradeable, but just a sign that you had the NFT haha. The “making it legit again” part will be CypherPunk’s job, not ours.
Is that alright?

Cypherpunk Zero needs to be the only NFT collection that user brought without ZEC. If it’s gone be done, please let’s do it the right way.
