Downloading the block

Hello there people. I’ve tried to download the Zcash blockchain two days ago but it got too late so I turned the pc off and went to sleep. Yesterday the download speed was slower and today its going only 15 blocks in 10 minutes. As @CitricAcid said you cannot turn off the pc while synchronizing the blockchain. What do I do now? Do I have to delete the .zcash folder? Do I have to purge/uninstall Zcash and do it all at once? I’m using Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.

If you don’t have anything in your wallet (it doesn’t sound like you do since it’s new), I would just blow it all away and start fresh. Make sure you allow it to sync to 100% before shutting it down or you’ll be in the same boat.

Is the blockchain stored in the .zcash folder? If not, where can I find it?
