Acknowledgment
We sincerely thank Zcash and the entire team for supporting privacy in the Web3 space.
Special thanks to DAO Proposal A90 for the financial and conceptual support that made this event possible.
As the event was titled “Introduction to Privacy”, the main goal was to bring together participants with a basic or entry-level understanding of privacy. We focused on introducing the basics of digital security, identity privacy, and secure transactions.
Discussion of wallets:
As part of the wallet discussion, we covered the following:
- Zashi - my primary wallet for ZEC, which I recommended as easy to use and convenient for shielded transactions.
- Unstoppable Wallet as a multi-currency option with privacy features.
- Trezor and Ledger were mentioned as hardware wallets, with special attention paid to their limitations in supporting shielded Zcash transactions.
About visual materials:
I organized the event myself, without a separate photographer or communication support. Photos were taken by some participants and sent to me after the event. In the future, I plan to approach this in a more structured way (prepared materials, photos, etc.). If necessary, I can send you the presentation I used during my speech.
“Was there any pushback from your audience?”
There was no harsh criticism, but the participants asked quite reasonable questions that showed interest:
- Is it possible to achieve complete anonymity in Web3 in real life?
- What are the regulatory risks for private cryptocurrencies in Ukraine?
