Genoil's ZEC Miner

I got it. seems like i just need to run the restart.bat file and it will runs the start.bat file. thx

im not sure i understand the question…
but maybe this will clear things up, you never need to manually run start.bat if you want to use the fail safe of the restart.bat… since as I mentioned before it automatically runs the start.bat for you… and if the miner crashes, it should restart the miner for you…
what I did for PC reboots is that I copied a shortcut of the restart.bat into my startup folder so that in case nothing works, after I either remotely or physically reboot the rig, it will run the restart.bat automatically without the need for me to do anything else.
here is a link that explains very simply how that is done

thats actually really good since that is prolly one of the ones that run 90 watts max without modding the bios
thats a lil less than my 370x cards at quite a bit less wattage and a nice low price

Yep, i got it. yes, my start.bat file was in the startup folder. I’ll replace that with the restart.bat file. thanks for your help!

happens on nicehash also

your welcome!
happy i could help out!

yeah but i just flash my Asrock bios to make it run. Probably PCI ex 3 put on PCI ex2 take effect on it. not sure this normal hash or not. I still use old HM67 motherboard with 4GB ram.

Also if I run dual miner GPU and CPU my CPU got heating fast event with water cooling.

One more thing. Do you get these error messages as well?

The restart script works great!

hmm… no I dont get those…

hmmm ok. <20 char 20 char>

thanks… but like I said its not my work… just some copy and pasting from someone’s post earlier in this thread!

the original script was written by @TomDDG and then extended by someone else I cant find anymore…
maybe have a look at the original and see if you can retrace an error somewhere…
sorry im not much help from here on out since im not a programmer… just a mining enthusiast…

gotcha. thanks! …

whoever was saying that nanopool doesn’t produce 0.0 is wrong.
probably his/her connection with the pool is better…

and yes, at the next miner restart by the PS1 script it came back to life.

Thank you, whoever wrote this, v2 of monitor_restart!!!
…I just removed “total” text from the match string and it works as it should

Which script are you using?

For me, running separate miner process for each GPU works better = separate PS1 script for each GPU. I’m getting slightly better overall performance that way, and also unnecessary restarts are avoided (why restart all mining threads when only 1 GPU goes to 0.0S/s?)

This one https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3wMsc4FJjHyTUV2SkwyOG42R2s

I’ve got the same problem. My rig has Fiji cards (4GB) and newly arrived 480 (8GB).

If I try to run all of them on 1 miner, I get 0 Sol/s and BSOD.
If I try to run -g 0 1 on one batch file and -g 2 on another batch file, the second batch tries to load up all three cards and it becomes BSOD festival.
