just update your details
Thanks you for sharing!
Getting ~30 H/s on RX 480 - Stock bios, Win10 as long as I have a display plugged in to that card.
-k zec zec || -k zec makes no difference
Often getting “zconn exception in: invalid string position” mining to z_address (loooong) on flypool. Not sure why, it usually starts mining anyway after trying a few times.
why r you mining to z? does it already work?
for me the only time i got a 0/sol after switching was the mem clock was too high
and now the other was from a modded nano, which has been giving me troubles for awhile
might wanna try that if u havent otherwise yea everything seems to be so different hardware to hardware
i have one rig running 5x 470s win 10 genoil .5 that is rock solid for hours , not even checking the thing anymore
offsets set to -25, think i can go further or start modding the bios now
480s are definitely doing quite a bit more than 470s on this algo tho sadly, but well have to see when others who understand more than i start modding
No, but I didn’t feel like creating a new address, I set my payout to 1.0 and I’ll just wait it out. Only getting ~175 S/s at that address, so it will take awhile to get to 1.0.
interesting. just lowered to 1800 instead of 1900 mem(ETH runs @ 2000, but it’s read intensive, so maybe now these mem errors is a factor) with no apparent effect on hashrate… we’ll see if more stable. thx!
ZEC is being PUMPED! Right now!
I was just about to post the same thing! Haha, $1270 on Poloniex
what 470 use you???
i don’t have your results with my sapphire 470 8gb
been stable on nanopool all day and also no stops on 0.6 either
Hawaiians just woke up? lol
im running bare minimums here
aiming for 1000/900 core and -100stock/stock mem (these 470s seem to have issues lowering mem voltage)
then im down to -25 offsets, doesnt seem to effect hash rate at all nothing i do other than drop core too much
also this super stable rig is flashed back to stock bios, seemed to help stability a lil when it was crazy on flypool
i did have higher hash rates on modded bios and i might just need to mod with a higher strap, ie 1625 1750 w.e they are
Всем пт, решил проблему по своему, строка запуска
set GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR=0
set GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE=100
set GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
set GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
genoil.exe -c equihash.usa.nicehash.com:3357 -u RTHNPLJG;LNLKNEO.1 -p x -g 0 1 2 3 -k zec -f 2 -z 1
What’s the restart script you’re using?
What hashrate are they each getting?
Interesting how the CPU used effects this miner (guess might also be memory and motherboard). I put the same GPU (RX480) in two machines, one with an i7-6700k the other with an A10-5800k. Both are running the CPU miner as well (minus one thread to give the GPU miner some CPU time). The A10 CPU miner gives me ~10S/s so don’t really want to stop running it.
On the i7-6700k the average S/s is 29.2 (max 35.4)
On the A10-5800k the average S/s is 24.5 (max 32.0)
I also have an r9380 in an older i3 machine and the average S/s is 21.0 (max 27.6)
Tempted to try the RX480 on the i3 machine to see if it just doesn’t like AMD CPUs
thought it might be related to Igpu… since I couldn’t start a mining instance without “-P 1” disabled everything in bios, no luck.
Are you running CPU miner on all threads? That could be causing it. I’ve found that on the 8 core 8320, the GPU miner only uses 4 of the cores. With the 8 threads on the 6700k, it could be the reason it performs better than the A10. If you want to see if it is the amount of threads that’s the issue, you could disable half the cores in your BIOS. I’d have thought the RX480 would do better than those sols, my 280X and 7950 are around there.
