i have already started on it but going to get some sleep now
have a good rest !
Would be a real pleasure to use genoils miner for zcash as well
It’s kind of running but it’s doing 0S/s not sure what the deal is but it’s going in the right direction.
If you’re using a 7000 series gpu, no support as of this moment.
your my best friend from now on @Genoil TY so much
You ported this to Linux?
It’s not a Genoil miner.
if its dual worker its silentarmy
2 6970s actually so I’m assuming none there also lol
OK thanks - but this is a thread for Genoil’s miner…
Can somebody who got it working share the command line parameters for this ? look for the right P command to use
“plat, P: set OpenCL platform id”
Options
Example:
genoil.exe -c zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -u username.1 -p x -P 0 -g 0 1 -i 13
Command line options:
help, h: show this help message
conn, c: set host
user, u: set user
pass, p: set password
gpus, g: set gpu(s)
ints, i: set intensity (defaults to 13)
plat, P: set OpenCL platform id
The -P 0 is for OpenCL
on a 290x getting 18 sols/s to 20 sols/s
zec#0: 18.2S/s total: 18.2S/s
zec#0 submitting solution
zconn submitted and accepted.
zec#0: 19.2S/s total: 19.2S/s
zec#0: 20.6S/s total: 20.6S/s
zec#0 submitting solution
Good job Genoil !
Now if you could push it to go to 40 sols/s that would be amazing
well the help says Set OpelCL platform id? which ID? if there is only only, no need to use that P command?
I want to know if i have 2 different series of AMD cards can to used to work it or only one series. It does not work with the 480 and the lower series mixed in.
I was running the Radeon 15.12 drivers and the Genoil ZEC mining program kept crashing. I have 2x R9 380s on this machine. I upgraded to Radeon 16.40 drivers and it solved the problem, no crash
If the program keeps crashing, Radeon 16.40 may be the minimum driver package requirement.
4 * rx480 = 60s/s
windows 10 non overclocked
bitfire can you explain the . in -u username.1
Why only windows builds?
